Puppies have a critical socialisation period from 3-weeks until about 12-weeks. This is a window of time where puppy needs to comfortably socialised to their world as you want them to live in it. Society can time poor, or well meaning owners may not have the capacity to safely socialise their pup to offer them the best start in life.

We offer a 'Live and Learn' program where your puppy can live in our home for these formative weeks.

We will ensure your puppy learns about their world in a safe way. They will also undertake basic training skills such as sit, down, recall, place and crate training.

Should you wish to  owner-train an assistance dog to public access level, we can pre-load your dog with the skills that you build on with you having as much involvement as is possible (e.g. hybrid).

Science overwhelmingly supports pups that are trained from an early age will retain what they learn. Having your prospect assistance dog trained in the appropriate behavioural aspects of safe public access will set your dog up for success unparalleled.

Australia's Disability Discrimination Act, 1992 (DDA) safeguards against access refusal. Nothing introduces you as a qualified, effective assistance dog and handler team quite like your dog's behaviour in public.

The duration of time for our Hybrid Pre-Loaded program is flexible. We offer complete support to the handler and will coach you through your public access journey.

For handler's who feel they need more than pre-loading for the assistance dog prospect, we offer our Hybrid Fully-Loaded program.  

Hybrid means we work with you, you will bond with your assistance dog prospect and we will give you all the information and coaching you need to understand and facilitate working with your assistance dog.

The difference is, your dog will live in our home with us and our own assistance dogs. We will develop the routines and arrange training where you can be hands-on involved in person or remotely for those who live at distance.

Your dog will enjoy premium food (BARF) and high quality nutritious snacks and rewards. We can arrange routine vet visits and vaccinations, as well as ensure routine internal parasite protection.

Assistance dogs benefit from living an enriched life, sniffing, digging, swimming and running with other dogs ensures homeostasis (a calm nervous system.)
